Yin & Yang

By Sarge

The symbol for Yin-Yang is a circle. In the circle are two symbols looking like teardrops, one black-the other white. They equally fill the expanse inside the border. They symbolically replicate harmony and balance in all things. Metaphorically this is a cool idea. In the alternative-metaphorical sense it exposes an All-American principle: what goes around-comes around.

Universal Healthcare was passed by a “comfortable” (?) 3 vote majority in the House of Representatives. Now we’ve see how sausage and political policy is made. It’s a condemnable & ugly process.

This was done without the overwhelmingly obvious consent of the American people. We only know what specific polls say on the subject. But it appears, according to polls conducted by CNN and CBS (both notoriously PRO-Obamacare), 59% and 48% of the people were opposed as polled by the respective surveys with 37% supporting the program for CBS’ poll and the rest undecided.

But according to The Heritage Foundation’s Morning Bell Blog by Conn Carroll on 3-23-2010, a full 76% of the American Public disapproved of the way Healthcare Reform was handled in Congress, but also a hefty “49% believethe rules and procedures used in Congress to get the health care bill passed have been mostly unfair”.

Government is the realm of politicians. The American Public has NOTHING to say about it. It’s been seen in this “historic” action. It’s not a matter of making your mind known and understood in public and private; it’s a matter of making the politician uncomfortable when you speak to him/her in public or private. By uncomfortable I mean you have to make them think. It’s a concept people in Congress have difficulty with: thinking on their own. Their leadership thinks for them. The Party Line is what they toe. The Party Planks are what they nail together to form the foundational support for the prison they’ll hold their free-will and simple sense captive in. The Party Privilege is to confine and constrain free-thinking by control of money and financial support to its nationally employed ranks. It’s how the game is played. Obama, Pelosi and Reid played that game well.

And it is our own fault we have NO say in government at this time. The Democratic Party, under this president, has proven that statement.

This wasn’t assented to by popular acclaim of the people. It was developed; routed, constructed and directed by bureaucratic edicts created by the beneficiaries of this crossword puzzle they call procedure. The procedural texts are designed to assure the Yin and Yang principle comes about in due course. Politics is an obscene see-saw played with by the immature minds of egocentric people wanting to be honored as lords and ladies of the playground. The American people must play in the sandbox soiled by the machinations of politics masquerading as public policy development.

Our senators and representatives prostitute themselves to serve the ideology of a system more about pimping for Progressivism than the real benefit of the American people. This is more about making Americans the servants of government than the other way around. This concerns small people proclaiming their power over right in favor of their ascendancy to seats above and beyond the reach of the people. They’ve dusted off their gold-plated but leaky porcelain thrones. The product of a man on a porcelain throne is the same as anybody else’s no matter the title he holds.

And this is where it all comes together. This is where the Yang comes back to slap the supporters of Yin.

As the largesse of the government dispensation comforts the minds of the Master, it also tightens the chains placed around the necks of the people made more beholden to the state supplying their wants as opposed to their needs. Eye candy is non-nutritive.

This isn’t over. They have 4 years to recognize the rotten egg this goose has laid. But trust in this warning. The hidden costs to the freedom and liberty of individual Americans has never been so obviously placed before you as with this act of an offensive Congress.

We can only hope: what goes around; comes around. Yin will equal Yang.

Thanks for listening
