Mo Brooks Interrogated by Fox News Host
Representative from Alabama Mo Brooks was on Fox News with Sandra Smith. Mo Brooks responds to Smith's rather aggressive questioning about the efforts to implement new laws in the aftermath of the recent school shootings and the question of election fraud. Smith's question are strongly premised on the current liberal talking points. Mo Brooks' responses are concise and on point. This is probably a good exchange for the listener to hear the differences between the parties in the debate over guns and the second admendment. Not discussed by Brooks is the potential for national defense. In World War ll, some Japanese discussed attacking the US and ruled it out because of all the weapons in the hands of the populace.
Brooks also clarifies the split between he and Trump on election fraud. In the Trump rally, he had said that we should move on from arguing about the results of the 2020 Election. This caused a rift between him and President Trump. He sees no possibility to have the results overturned but strongly believes there was significant fraud. Here Sandra Smith inserts herself trying to say that there was no fraud. Brooks vehemently disagrees. It is hard to see how anyone could believe that there was no fraud. Most importantly, President Trump is right to argue that if the issue is not properly addressed it will happen again.

The Ministry of Truth
The Department of Homeland Security led by Alejandro Mayorkas is in the process of setting up a Board of Misinformation. This was the topic of a Senate hearing. Senators Kennedy, Louisiana, and Hawley, Missouri, brought many to the problematic issues with the Board and, in particular, the person selected to head the board.
One of the problems which they did not address directly, but continually emphasized by Mayorkas, was that he had no information about the qualifications of the person they had selected even though he contended he was ultimately responsible. He then asserted that hiring practices was something that he would not discuss. From my perspective, the hiring practices should be transparent and if he does not know the details, he should have brought forward someone who does. This is blatantly an obfuscation that should have been challenged by all senators. He also would not commit to sharing the paper trail associated with her hiring.
Senator Hawley brings out the misinformation distributed by the newly appointed head of the board, Nina Jankowicz.

Glenn Greenwald Interview with Julie Kelly
Julie Kelly has been reporting on theJanuary 6th defendants since the beginning. Her articles appear in American Greatness and she has appeared often on the Tucker Carlson Show.
This interview by Glenn Greenwald highlights many of the issues with the imprisonment and prosecution of individuals collected by the FBI after the January 6th 2020 demonstrations in DC. They also discuss the Pelosi committee investigating the happenings around January 6th.
Some of the major points they discuss are the choice of the venue for the trial, the inventive reinterpretation of laws by prosecutors to create novel charges against the defendants, the lack of competent legal defense council, and the suppression of evidence by government. For those of you that would be surprised by any of these actions, you will find other examples of the same government behavior described in Sidney Powell's book, Licensed to Lie.
Another major concern highlighted in this discussion is the harsh treatment of the defendants, beginning with the manner in which the FBI used very aggressive measures in their arrests to now with many of whom are held in jails in filthy conditions and not being allowed bail despite their not having any previous criminal history and being charged with non-violent crimes.
