Neil Oliver envisions when the people will see the corruption of their leaders
Neil Oliver's comments apply equally to the US as they do to Britain. We have been seriously misled by many in powerful positions and will be facing existential threats in the near future if we don't constrain their actions.
Elections have consequences and thankfully the Republicans control the House of Representatives in the next congress.
However, the Democrats are already trying to circumvent future actions of the House in regard to January 6th investigations by transferring the activity to a Special Prosecutor. This technique worked to impede the Republicans of the House Intelligence Committee during Trump's first term and allowed Schiff to make false accusations when the underlying data was somehow considered confidential and not available for the public to see.
We will probably see more lawfare and extension of government powers through Presidential Executive Orders and Departmental Regulations in the coming 2 years.
Further not all Republicans oppose the government overreach that is being justified under false crises, such as, Global Warming. Overreach that threatens the liberties that Americans currently enjoy.

Don't Forget The Lies and Failures of this Generation of "Elite
Neil Oliver's commentary is on target for leaders on both sides of the Atlantic. He highlights the thoughts of Orwell in pointing out they will tell us that we shold believe their lies and not our own memories. Biden exemplifies this in his recent claim that when he came to office that gasoline was $5 per gallon and he has brought it down. Some will hear that and not reflect on the actual facts and call it out for what it is. It would be worth writing down some of the other lies he mentions that are now being told and some that are likely to come.
The people who told the truth on these matters were censored and even punished for their honesty.
